How to lose that menopause weight gain
And get started this festive season (yes it is possible)
Is menopause weight gain getting you down?
Waking up in the morning and standing on the scales realising that although you were “good” with your food choices yesterday the scales don’t reflect it. Exercising every day, going without your favourite foods or perhaps you have a pedometer or other tech that’s measuring your daily steps. Doing 10,000 steps a day and going without, and STILL not losing a single pound or gram?
I hear you ladies! That was me too. Until recently…
If you are like me, you’ve tried many diets with varying degrees of success. Some seem to work for a while and then for almost no reason, the results stop showing and you lose faith in it.
Or perhaps you made your goal weight, only to gradually put it all back on again – with interest!
Well, I know it’s going to be hard for you to believe this – I was a skeptic too, but there is an answer – finally!
There is a program that has been specifically designed for women with menopause weight to lose – and it actually works.
What is it and how does it work?
So ladies, what if there was an easy program to follow that guarantees it’s virtually impossible to not lose 10kg (22 pounds) in 8 weeks. That’s right, many women have done exactly that, including me. I feel healthier, happier and have kept it all off for over 2 months now.
And even better, you can lose that 10kg in 8 weeks… WITH NO EXERCISE! But don’t worry, if you want to exercise or you already do exercise, then you can just keep it up. The *no exercise* is for those who have a sedentary lifestyle.
Sound too good to be true? Let me explain.
You have heard of low carb, no carb, high protein diets, since they are all the rage. Well, although this is a program low in carbs, it is something entirely different.
This program is more than a diet, in fact, it’s hardly even a diet, it’s life as it should be. Once you learn why your diets haven’t been working and the truth about calories, you will never look back.
So, you CAN do something about menopause weight gain!
But let’s debunk a few myths first…
We all grew up thinking that we had to count calories, and so that led us to choose low calorie foods. Perhaps you are someone who consumes low calorie biscuits, or low calorie cereal, low calorie drinks or even low calorie wine or beer!
And it’s not working!
The low-calorie brigade have led us up the garden path when it comes to weight loss and in fact, it was certain to eventually make us heavier. Are you heavier? Do you consume low calorie foods? Right.
What about low fat? Margarine instead of butter, no bacon, no cream, low fat yoghurt, low fat milk, low fat ice cream and on and on it goes. When the fat is removed, sweetener is added to make the product palatable. So when we choose low fat, we are inadvertently choosing high sugar!
So what about sugar? Nutritionists the world over are now trying to get the message out that we must all consume less sugar. We know that now. Apparently even artificial sweetener tricks the body into gaining weight.
But how do you eat if you aren’t counting calories, you can’t choose low fat and you can’t have any added sweetener – even if artificial?
Well, this would seem to lead us to high protein, low carb.
The problem with high protein diets is that they make you feel sluggish, cause massive headaches and brain fog and with many of these carb altered diets out there – there is the dreaded breath!
So what’s a woman to do? Are you totally confused by all the diet mumbo-jumbo? I know I was. Sick of seeing your waist disappearing? Going up a dress size for no damn reason (I mean it’s not like you did anything different, right?).
There seems to be nothing that will shift that meno tummy. Nothing seems to work and with all the conflicting information out there, where do we turn for the right answer?

Hi Carolyn,
Yes, I know about Minoxidil, it does work but can get very expensive if you have to use it all the time. You could try BOOSTNBLEND which is an instant cosmetic solution. It will sort out the problem so that it is not noticeable. You can buy it from http://www.boostnblend.com in the USA or Amazon or any of our other websites around the world.
